Cold Bernie Sanders, Laura Bush’s flats stood out at inauguration
The image of Sen. Bernie Sanders looking cold at President Biden’s inauguration birthed internet images that transplanted Sanders to such backgrounds as the New York subway, “The Sopranos” and “Forrest Gump.” Also noteworthy were the flats former first lady Laura Bush wore as she negotiated many stairs.
