Los Angeles 3-year-old suffers rare brain swelling after contracting COVID-19
CJ Mercado was hospitalized earlier this year for a severe case of COVID-19, suffered a 107-degree fever and had seizures. He spent 20 days intubated; doctors later discovered he also suffered from an autoimmune disease.
