The euphoria the golf world is experiencing in the wake of Tiger Woods' victory in the Masters might only be short-lived.

There's another major coming up very soon.

Because of revisions the PGA Tour made to its calendar this year, the PGA — golf's traditional fourth major — has been moved from August to May so the PGA Tour season and FedEX Cup playoffs will end before football season begins.

So instead of waiting two months for the next major, in less than a month, a star-studded field will descend on the legendary Black Course at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y., for the 101st PGA Championship, May 16-19.

Of course, Tiger has a history there, too.

When the 2002 U.S. Open was held at Bethpage Black, Woods was also coming off a win in the Masters earlier that year.
