English hit a 299-yard drive into the fairway, then dropped his approach perfectly onto the front edge of the green. The ball took one big bounce and released perfectly into the cup.

English came to the tee at 1-over par for the day, but the albatross completely turned around his round. English's double-eagle is the third in the last three Players Champonships. Rafa Cabrera-Bello made an albatross at No. 16 in 2017.
