During Tiger Woods' magical Sunday at the PGA Championship, a phone rang while he was driving on the fifth hole, per a video posted by a fan on Reddit:

I hesitated posting this, but this is the 5th Tee box on Sunday. If you remember, Tiger did not hit a great shot. This video I took may be why. I thought I might see a riot from golf

Remember what happened last month in the British Open? Not a phone ringing but a fan yelling in his backswing:

So here's the new rule: If you want to root for Woods to win a tournament again, particularly a major, keep your phone silent and wait a beat after you see the ball leave the tee or the putter before you cheer for it.

Don't be the fan who costs him a stroke or two.
