Pour one out for Thomas Pieters’ 9-iron. Pieters, playing at the BMW PGA Championship, was upset with himself after an errant shot… and proceded to snap the club over his neck.

Yep. Take a look:

The Bo Jackson of golf? Pieters just one-upped him. He struggled on the first day of the event, notching a 3-over 75. The second round didn’t start much better, and his emotions boiled over.

Pieters’ managed to card a par despite his frustration, but he must have felt like he missed out on a birdie. You never know what you’ll see on a golf course.
