Major League Baseball is once again the fashion police.

First, it was Ben Zobrist's cleats. Then it was Willson Contreras' sleeve that honored his native country of Venezuela. They are done picking on members of the Chicago Cubs, and now they are telling St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong to stop wearing his Hawaii tribute sleeve.

Really kind and definitely a timely, necessary gesture by the league. Rolling our eyes.

Hawaii has been devastated by Mount Kilauea, a volcano that erupted and has caused massive destruction. All Wong was doing is wearing this sleeve with a Hawaiian emblem to raise awareness to the tragedy.

Yeah, not that big a deal.

To be fair, MLB isn't picking on particular players. The league is doing their very best to take anything that isn't team apparel or MLB sponsored out of the game. For example, his teammate Marcell Ozuna wears a very noticeable highlighter colored sleeve, but it's Nike and approved by the league.

It's beyond silly they are focusing on things like this. I mean, it's not like they don't have more important things to worry about, right?
