The Indians tied the American League record on Tuesday after winning their 20th straight game, but their Twitter account had a year-old score to settle with the Oakland Athletics.

The Athletics, of course, set the American League record in 2002 with 20 straight wins. The accomplishment was chronicled in both the book and film, Moneyball. As the Indians were winning 14 straight games last season, the A's Twitter account poked fun at the otherwise impressive streak by bringing up the Moneyball A's and Scott Hatteberg's walk-off home run.

Well, people don't forget.

After the Indians tied the record, the team's Twitter account quoted that year-old tweet and did their own @OldTakesExposed impression.

There's really no coming back from that. Solid burn, Indians.

To their credit, the Athletics were good sports about the tweet and had a classy response.
