Fans in attendance for Tuesday’s Pittsburgh Pirates-Milwaukee Brewers game were treated to something cool before the game.

Pirates pitcher Steven Brault sang the national anthem before the game. Take a look:

Brault, 26, is a man of many talents. The southpaw pitcher is 5-1 with a 4.38 ERA this season — his third in the bigs. He has worked as both a reliever and starter.

According to a 2016 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette story on Brault, the California native joined his high school choir as a junior and discovered then that he was a pretty good singer. He was a vocal performance major at Regis University in Denver before leaving to go pro. He is also the lead singer of a group called the Street Gypsys.

Pirates manager Clint Hurdle seemed to support Brault showing off his talent:

“A big part of it is showing people, showing kids, that it’s OK to do other things,” Brault said of his decision to sing, via MLB.com. “I think that’s really important. It’s something I really live by.”
