Aaron Judge was activated from the disabled list before Friday night’s game against the Blue Jays at the Stadium.
The slugger who has been out since July 27 with a chip fracture in his right wrist will only be available for defensive purposes and possible pinch running.
“We won’t use him to hit yet,” Yankee manager Aaron Boone said.
Judge just began swinging a bat 12 days ago.
