Photos: Daniel Jacobs escapes with victory over Gabriel Rosado

A flat Daniel Jacobs narrowly outpointed Gabriel Rosado on Friday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.

Jacobs, the former middleweight titleholder, won a split decision in an uneventful 12-round super middleweight fight. Two judges scored it 115-113 for Jacobs (37-3, 30 KOs), the third had it by the same score for Rosado (25-13-1, 14 KOs).

In preliminaries: Daniyar Yeleussinov (10-0, 6 KOs) stopped Julius Indongo (23-3, 12 KOs) in the second round of a scheduled 10-round welterweight bout; Emmanuel Tagoe (32-1, 15 KOs) defeated Mason Menard (36-5, 25 KOs) by a majority decision in 10-round lightweight bout; Mahammadrasul Majidov (3-0, 3 KOs) knocked out Sahret Delgado (8-1, 7 KOs) in the third round of a scheduled eight-round heavyweight fight; and Nikita Ababiy (10-0, 6 KOs) outpointed Brandon Maddox (7-4-1, 5 KOs) in a six-round middleweight bout.
