The California State Athletic Commission has overturned Jon Jones' victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 to a no-contest, CSAC executive officer Andy Foster told MMA Fighting's Marc Raimondi on Wednesday.

The decision comes less than a day after it was reported that Jones' B sample from his failed drug test prior to the July 29 fight confirmed the presence of an illegal substance.

The UFC has yet to announce if Jones will be stripped of the light heavyweight title, and the promotion has stated it will wait until the USADA has completed the adjudication process to make the decision.

Jones was flagged for the anabolic steroid turinabol after regaining his title and is facing a four-year suspension as a repeat offender.

The 30-year-old has denied any wrongdoing, with his camp saying they are investigating how the banned substance got into Jones' system.

Jones has not spoken on the failed test himself.
