What to Watch for

Can the Wizards avenge their recent loss against Charlotte?

Last Friday, the Wizards lost in a heartbreaker to the Hornets. After Beal missed a potential game-winner with 3.6 seconds left in the game, Bobby Portis fought for an offensive rebound. While doing so, Portis’ arm was held back by Marvin Williams. Portis, who put up 23 points, was visibly frustrated when there was no whistle.

Unfortunately for Washington, the NBA’s Last Two Minute Report confirmed the referees missed a loose ball foul on Portis which could have absolutely changed the outcome of the game.

There’s no doubt that loss is fresh on the team’s mind.

Wizards have been winning at home

Washington is in a five-game home stretch and they haven’t lost yet. They started the week off with a win against the Kings Monday and beat the Magic Wednesday by 10 points. Washington has momentum on its side right now.

Thomas Bryant putting in work

In his 25 minutes on the floor against Orlando, Bryant put up 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. It was his ninth double-double of the season. Hopefully, Bryant can bring that same energy into Friday’s game.

Yes, Bradley Beal is still ballin’

Not a thing has changed. Beal is still putting in work. This month, Beal is averaging 26.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game. No big deal.

A random moment in Wizards – Hornets history: Michael Jordan drops 51 points against Charlotte in 2001
