The war of words between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets spilled out on to the floor in Saturday's Game 4 and it caused an feisty altercation to take place between Jared Dudley and members of the Philadelphia 76ers.

The "rivalry" between Dudley and Simmons began after Dudley called Simmons an "average" player in the half court. After a powerful Game 3 performance, Simmons tried his best to evade questions about Dudley, but it was obvious the two were jawing at each other over the course of Game 4.

Things boiled over when Dudley took exception to a hard foul levied on Jarrett Allen by Joel Embiid. Dudley mixed it up with Embiid on an earlier possession and eventually lost his composure after the Sixers' big man nailed Allen with what appeared to be a hard foul on an Allen shot attempt.

Butler retaliated by shoving Dudley before members of both teams got into a major shoving match that spilled into the crowd.

Dudley and Butler were issued double technical fouls and were then ejected. Embiid was assessed a flagrant foul-1.

At this point, it's unclear as to whether the league will consider suspensions for either Dudley or Butler, but considering the fact that no punches were thrown in the exchange, fines are probably the more likely outcome.
