ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith nearly lost his mind Tuesday while discussing Kevin Durant's recent comments about "missing" an injured Stephen Curry.

Following Sunday's 109-103 loss to the Timberwolves, Durant told ESPN's Nick Friedell that the Warriors offense felt "weird" without the two-time NBA MVP.

"It’s weird not having Steph out there," Durant said. "And Andre [Iguodala] and D-West [David West], Jordan [Bell], so we’re missing a lot, and we’re just kind of playing on the fly each possession."

Smith had a big problem with that statement because he wants Durant to step up without Curry on the court.

"Kevin Durant," Smith yelled at the camera, "I don’t want to hear how much you miss Steph Curry, how much y’all miss Steph Curry. Get over it! You’re a superstar."

Curry has sat out the last two Golden State contests with a sprained right ankle, one that could be cause for concern as the season comes to a close.
