PGA golfer Brooks Koepka had himself a breakout weekend at the U.S. Open. He put up a masterful performance at Erin Hills, the internet seemed obsessed with his looks and he was the target of a really obnoxious golf shout.

But you haven't truly made it until fans dig up years-old tweets. Well, it's safe to say that Koepka has made it now.

As Koepka was making his way onto the 17th with a three-stroke lead, a tweet from 2011 made its rounds on Twitter. Koepka made a bold prediction about LeBron James six years ago that really didn't age well at all.

Koepka was born in South Florida and went to college at Florida State, but for some reason, he was a huge Mavericks fan and took great pride in watching the Miami Heat lose in the 2011 NBA Finals to Dallas.

Koepka proclaimed that LeBron would never win a championship. LeBron, though, would go on to win the next two NBA titles and add a third ring with Cleveland in 2016.

To be fair, we've all had bad tweets. And Koepka was gracious when LeBron won his first titles the following two seasons.
