As he sat at the podium with a hat protecting his eyes from the bright lights of the media room in Boston, LeBron James downplayed the after effects of taking an incidental shoulder to the head from Boston's Jayson Tatum after Cleveland lost to the Celtics 107-94 to fall to an 0-2 series deficit heading back to Cleveland.

"I was checked for multiple things and I passed," James told reporters in the postgame presser. "That's why I was able to come back and finish the half."

You can see the play here at the 3:25 mark.

So, James had 42 points but he had 23 of those points in the first 20 minutes of the game and finished the final 28 with 19. He was clearly slowed down a bit, even as he played it down and racked up big stats.

Luckily for him and the Cavs, they have a good amount of time to get right. They'll have three full days until Saturday's Game 3 in Cleveland.
