NBA stars are people, too.

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller was in attendance when the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 121-100 on Thursday evening. Center Nikola Jokić totaled 18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in the win.

After the game, Miller exchanged signed jerseys with the young Serbian basketball star.

Even though he is a rising star himself, Jokic seemed pretty excited about meeting Colorado's most popular athlete.

"It meant a lot, to be honest," Jokic said after the game, according to The Athletic's Nick Kosmider. "I watch him a lot. He had an injury and then was the [Super Bowl] MVP. I think the whole team needs to look up to him.

"He was the MVP and he was playing defense, and that's what we're trying to do. He's a beast, animal. He's something that can't be stopped. He's someone I look up to and really admire that he came to our game tonight."

Miller seems to be a fan of Jokic as well. He told fans to "vote for my guy Nikola, he's the coldest" in a video on the Nuggets' Twitter page. Miller was encouraging fans to vote for Jokic for the NBA's All-Star game.
