We all know Dick Vitale is outspoken and energetic, but we've rarely seen people get directly on his bad side.

That changed Monday when Dickie V joined Jordy Culotta and T-Bob on their morning show "Off the Bench". The two hosts went after the former coach and color commentator about his comments regarding suspended LSU head coach Will Wade, and ended up calling Vitale a hypocrite.

As you could've guessed, that did not go well.

Dickie V went off about the disrespect they showed him, which paved the way for a very tense show.

Did they think Vitale was going to move on without any sort of issue there?

The biggest gripe the hosts had with Dickie V regarded his constant bashing of Wade and LSU. Wade is one of the many coaches under investigation by the FBI after he was caught on tape talking about giving a "strong ass offer" to current guard Javonte Smart.

Vitale has been wildly against Wade and everything he stands for when it comes to LSU.

Not only did Vitale never reveal whether or not he's actually heard the tapes, but he's the same guy who believes Rick Pitino should get hired despite his many transgressions. That is a bit hypocritical.

Anytime Dickie V is on, you know you're going to get some passion, but we definitely saw him in a different light during this interview.
