Just 24 hours after Urban Meyer announced he'll be stepping down as Ohio State head coach after the Rose Bowl, the Buckeyes' 2020 recruiting class is now down two verbal pledges.

On Tuesday, 4-star 2020 safety Lejond Cavazos decommitted from Ohio State, which was obviously a major blow to the program.

Fast forward to Wednesday morning, and 4-star offensive tackle Jake Wray has joined Cavazos in opening up his recruitment.

Wray, out of Marietta High School in Georgia, is ranked the No. 14 offensive tackle in the country for his class and the No. 93 player overall.

Throughout his recruitment, he's racked up more than 20 offers, with Ohio State, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and many more putting a scholarship on the table.

In his decommitment post, Wray said his verbal to OSU was contingent with Meyer staying with the program. Now that he'll be moving on at the end of the season, it changed everything for the 6-5, 290-pounder.

Don't expect Wray to be the last player to decommit from Ohio State, as the bombshell Meyer news is clearly having a negative impact out on the recruiting trail.

Time for Ryan Day and Co. to step up.
