Ed Oregon has done a solid job since taking over as the head coach at LSU. Though the program hasn't been elite, he's done a good job keeping them relevant with the resources they have. However, his predecessor doesn't seem to think so.

Les Miles,  who spent 12 seasons as the head coach of the Tigers , called out his successor on a radio show for asking LSU fans for patience.

He then went on to an ESPN affiliate radio station to clarify his comments and instead muddied them even more. Miles went as far to say it was more along the lines of criticism he heard at a barber shop.

Listen, you can criticize Miles all you want, but the guy has pretty high expectations of his former team.

He set a standard for all coaches to come after him to follow and thus far Ed Oregon hasn't really gotten there yet. It's certainly a lot easier said than done to win the SEC West these days, let alone the SEC in general, but Oregon needs to at least show that the winning culture Miles worked his tail off to create hasn't totally faded away.

During his tenure in Baton Rouge, Miles made three appearances in the SEC Championship game, winning it twice. He also appeared in two National Championships, winning in 2007 and losing to Alabama in 2011.
