2021 NFL mock draft: Can Justin Fields challenge Trevor Lawrence for top spot?

Ever since he torched Alabama in the national title game as a freshman, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been locked in as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

But if there’s anyone in the country who has even the slightest chance to challenging him for that top spot, it’s Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, who made a strong statement in his first game of the 2020 season last week.

North Dakota State’s Trey Lance is still the wild card of this year’s quarterback class, and other passers like Florida’s Kyle Trask and BYU’s Zach Wilson are knocking on the first-round conversation after impressive starts to their 2020 campaigns.
