Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II and wide receiver Antonio Brown met on Tuesday and according to Brown have come to an understanding. While it sounds like the meeting went well, Brown says they agreed it is time for the two sides to part ways and move on.

Based on this, a trade of Brown is imminent. The start of the league year is just a few weeks away but Pittsburgh could work out a trade in principle with a team ahead of the date as the Baltimore Ravens did with Joe Flacco.

Brown spent his first nine seasons with Pittsburgh. The Steelers took Brown in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft. His last six seasons are the best stretch by any wide receiver in NFL history. Brown is now hoping to move forward and finish his career with a new team and a new quarterback.
