The Cleveland Indians organization and triple-A affiliate Columbus Clippers are saddened to announce the death of Matt Pruzinsky, the Clippers clubhouse manager.

Matt Pruzinsky was beloved by his peers and the players who played for him. His death is a tragedy within the Indians organization and he will be sorely missed.

Here is the announcement that the Columbus Clippers made today via Twitter.

Pruzinsky died of cardiac arrest on Sunday while attending the NFL game between the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns.

Matt has been a member of the Clippers since 2010. His time with the club made him many close friends and colleagues. He is leaving behind a wife and two children who have yet to be born. They will have the unwavering support of the Clippers organization and are already being shown how much Matt was loved.

Some of the players and coaches have started a GoFundMe to support Matt's family. You can donate at this link.

Overall, this is an awful thing that's happened and the Clippers have lost a great man in Matt Pruzinsky.

We with Matt's family the best during these difficult times.
