This must be prefaced by stating the fact: the Browns will meet with every top prospect in the 2018 NFL Draft during the next three months. Every single one.

Even knowing that truth, many folks are already excited about the news from Sports Illustrated's Robert Klemko about the Browns scheduling a meeting with dynamic Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield.

According to Klemko, Browns GM John Dorsey scheduled the visit with Mayfield as soon as he possibly could. In his piece at SI.com, he also lists the Browns as the most likely destination for the gunslinging Sooner.

Dorsey and the Browns have already had at least one opportunity to meet with Mayfield during last month's Senior Bowl.

Again, the Browns will have ample opportunity to meet with every prospect they have any modicum of interest in between now and the draft. Don't go ordering those Baker Mayfield jerseys just yet.
