Colin Kaepernick, a quarterback who somehow still has not been picked up by an NFL team after kneeling during the national anthem last season to protest racial inequality and police brutality, tweeted out words of support for ESPN's Jemele Hill on Tuesday night.

Earlier in the day, ESPN released a statement saying that certain comments Hill made on Twitter were "inappropriate" and that they "addressed" them with her. The comments Hill made started as a criticism of Kid Rock, who yelled "(expletive) Colin Kaepernick" at a concert last year.

Hill then began replying to people in her Twitter mentions, which resulted in her discussing President Donald Trump and the rise of white supremacy. You can read more of her tweets here.
