Dwayne Haskins earns more praise coming out of rookie minicamp

It's all about Dwayne Haskins for the Washington Redskins.

At the least, it feels that way with rookie minicamp in the rearview.

John Clayton of the Washington Post is the latest to chime in with praise while outlining his biggest takeaways from the post-draft process so far:

Clearly, he has plenty of things to work on before he can beat out Case Keenum and Colt McCoy for the starting job, but early on he showed why the Redskins were smart to wait and snap him up in the first round. For a team put in a challenging spot following Alex Smith's injury, Haskins could provide a way out.

Haskins indeed received praise from Jay Gruden himself once camp was over and it's all but confirmed he has a serious shot at taking the starting job.

Again, these are just reviews coming out of rookie camp and expected ones for a first-round pick.

If this same chatter follows Haskins throughout training camp, the Redskins might have some really interesting on their hands.
