New Washington Redskins offensive lineman Ereck Flowers might be undergoing a position change under the guidance of legendary line coach Bill Callahan.

After inking his new deal, Flowers had plenty to say about his new coach. Per Redskins.com:

"When you talk to him he's just so knowledgeable. Certain stuff you watch on film, or when he talks about certain things. I was just talking to him now, and there are things that I've never really heard, and its like 'wow.' You know he's a great coach, you look at his body of work and I think it's a great opportunity."

The Redskins were never going to have problems recruiting offensive lineman with a coach like Callahan helping along.

Flowers is an especially interesting case, though. He's struggled through two NFL stops already despite the expectations thrown his way. A shift inside, at least, might put him in a better spot to succeed.

With Callahan helping, the Redskins might hope Flowers can solve a big problem on the line's interior.
