New York Jets receiver Quincy Enunwa said he understands how some could view his team's upcoming season as one that's more focused on next year's draft than winning now.

Enunwa told the New York Post on Sunday that "it's hard to argue" with the perception that the Jets' offseason maneuvers -- which led to the departures of receivers Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall, along with veterans Nick Mangold and Darrelle Revis -- are part of a scheme to tank the regular season to hasten the rebuilding process with a high draft pick.

“I don’t think any player is going to tank,"  Enunwa added. "Our jobs are on the line. Our families (depend on us). We’re out there to work and get our paycheck and win games. People are always going to say that kind of stuff, but we’re just going to play.”
