Josh Norman falls well out of the top-20 rated CBs in Madden 20

Not too long ago, Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman was one of the highest-rated cornerbacks in the Madden franchise.

Things change fast in the NFL.

Back around Madden 17, Norman was flirting with a 95 rating. But in the full Madden 20 ratings release, Norman checks in with a paltry 81 overall.

That's way, way down a list that begins with Jalen Ramsey at 96. The team at EA Sports has worked hard to separate star players from the rest in ratings this year, hence only six corners sitting on overalls of 90-plus.

But an 81 for Norman seems rough considering it places him below guys like Brandon Carr and Trumaine Johnson.

Granted, Norman was far from perfect last year and has plenty to prove at the age of 31.

Ideally, Norman will get to bump his rating again as the season progresses if he's playing well, as EA Sports will once again be updating the numbers over the course of the season.
