Louisiana-Monroe quarterback Rhett Rodriguez was hospitalized following Saturday’s 29-16 win over Troy at Malone Stadium.

Rodriguez is on a ventilator in intensive care. ULM offensive coordinator Rich Rodriguez, Rhett’s father, tweeted Sunday that his son suffered a lung injury against Troy. Rhett split snaps with Chandler Rogers on Saturday.

"Our family would like to thank everyone who has reached out with their thoughts and prayers for Rhett," Rich Rodriguez said in a tweet.
