It’s typical for the NFL to treat Fridays in the offseason as a news dump. That’s exactly what we’re seeing heading into the start of training camp.

It now includes the league announcing that it has suspended new Oakland Raiders guard Richie Incognito for the first two games of the season.

Incognito’s suspension comes under the umbrella of the league’s personal conduct policy.

Needless to say, this stems from an incident last August at a funeral home in which Incognito was arrested on disorderly conduct charges after threatening to shoot the place up.

The veteran guard has been known as a bad apple for some time now. He was never going to escape the NFL’s own justice system.
