Less than two weeks after being cut by the Oakland Raiders, wide receiver Martavis Bryant is rejoining the team on a one-year deal, according to multiple reports Tuesday night.

The Raiders traded a third-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers to acquire Bryant this offseason, then released him Sept. 1 as they finalized their season-opening 53-man roster. Now, he is not only back with the team — he's expected to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos, according to NFL Network.

"I am just thankful and happy and excited for this weekend and the opportunity to take care of my family; it will not be taken for granted," Bryant told ESPN.

ESPN has reported that the 26-year-old is facing a yearlong suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy but remains in "wait-and-see mode." He missed the entire 2016 season due to a similar suspension.

A former fourth-round pick out of Clemson, Bryant made eight starts in 2017 and finished with 50 catches, 603 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
