Shailene Woodley confirms she's been engaged Aaron Rodgers 'for a while'
It’s officially official!
First, there were the reports that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley were dating. Then there was Rodgers thanking his “fiancee” in his MVP acceptance speech. He also thanked Woodley’s The Mauritanian co-star Jodie Foster, but we hadn’t heard anything from Woodley or Rodgers officially … until Monday night.
Woodley appeared on The Tonight Show and confirmed to Jimmy Fallon they’ve been engaged for a while. She called Rodgers “a wonderful, incredible human being,” but never thought she’d marry a pro athlete. Before she met him, she didn’t watch football or know just how good he was.
“I don’t know him as the football guy,” she said. “I know him as the nerd who wants to host ‘Jeopardy!’ He just happens to also be really good at sports.”
