Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced in his Tuesday press conference the team is going to hold kicker tryouts this week. Kicker Chris Boswell has struggled for much of the season and as much as you could tell it pained Tomlin to admit it, he finally relented what is best for the team and wants to try to fix the kicking woes.

Boswell is 10-of-16 on field goal tries this season and 39-44 on extra point tries. This is in contract to hitting 92.1 percent of his field goals in 2017 and 94.9 percent of his extra point attempts. Boswell's production going into the season is why the Steelers made him one of the highest-paid kickers in the league.

Now his future with the team is uncertain. Honestly, the best course of action would be to bring in a new kicker, put Boswell on IR for the rest of the year and let him get his mind right for next season.
