Le'Veon Bell won't play for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season (or likely ever again) after he missed Tuesday's 4 p.m. deadline to report to the team.

While the Steelers had kept Bell's locker saved all season, the missed deadline officially meant it was time to move on. Some players didn't exactly continue the courtesy of keeping Bell's locker the way he left it.

Following Wednesday's practice, Steelers players removed Bell's nameplate and then raided the contents of his locker - personal items, shoes, clothes all being divided amongst the team.

There's pettiness and then there's this.

Linebacker Bud Dupree even thanked Bell for the new pair of Jordan Brand cleats.

That just doesn't happen in NFL locker rooms, particularly with the media present. They wanted Bell to get the message, and that was one way to do it.
