The NFL is considering making ejections reviewable

Right now, ejections in the NFL are not reviewable plays. But soon, they might be. Like the multiple proposals for changing kickoffs, reviewing ejections is another topic up for discussion during the NFL’s spring meeting. At the very least, NFL owners will get to vote on this subject.

Of course, this isn’t the first topic up for review with the league and its owners. The catch rule is already different. Kickoffs could be next. In fact, they might be gone entirely soon. But ejections are typically straightforward matters. This might actually further hinder the league’s product. However, if they are going to make each ejection subject to review, hopefully teams can review dirty hits that go unseen.

Only time will tell. In the meantime, is the league making the right call? or, is there just too much tinkering going on?
