Twitter can’t believe Redskins didn’t sign Colin Kaepernick after poor play from Mark Sanchez, Josh Johnson

Injuries to Alex Smith and Colt McCoy forced the Washington Redskins to go with Mark Sanchez and Josh Johnson at the quarterback position.

But after Sanchez got benched and Johnson's mediocre play in Washington's 40-16 loss to the New York Giants in Week 14, social media once again called for the Redskins to sign former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

According to Redskins coach Jay Gruden, Washington did actually consider signing Kaepernick but ultimately they decided he wasn't a good fit. Twitter pointed to the hypocrisy of this statement during Washington's blowout loss on Sunday.

Despite what Twitter may want to happen, based on Washington's front office decisions in the past weeks, there's likely no chance the Redskins sign Kaepernick any time soon.
