Hernandez is charged with first degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd. Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is in the midst of serving a life-sentence after being found guilty in the 2013 murder of his friend and associate, Odin Lloyd.

But Hernandez recently stood trial for another crime, a double murder case stemming from a 2012 incident outside a Boston nightclub. Earlier today, the jury found Hernandez not guilty in that case, which came as a surprise to many.
