U.S. Open social team rips Seahawks QB Drew Lock in hilarious exchange with online troll
Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock is catching strays in a sport he isn't remotely related to.
The recent Seattle addition, part of a blockbuster trade that sent Russell Wilson to the Broncos, was the unfortunate victim of an epic burn at the hands of the U.S. Open Tennis Twitter account.
It all started with ESPN tweeting a between-the-legs serve by Nick Kyrgios vs. No. 4 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round of Wimbledon on Saturday. A Twitter user with the name "Seahawks fan 4 life Jose Azocar Truther" responded to the highlight, quipping, "Not a sport."

The Open account had the perfect response: "Not a sport says the person about to watch 17 games of Drew Lock at QB."
Here's the entire exchange:

Ouch. Rough going for Lock, a second-round pick by Denver who is heading into his fourth year in the NFL. Unfortunately for him, the U.S. Open wasn't finished:
unlike seahawks qbs to open receivers, we don't miss

To their credit, "Seahawks fan" did not delete the tweet, which went viral as a result of the U.S. Open's response. The poster then tweeted several responses acknowledging they were "ratioed" as well as offering support for Lock — who has to be confused as to why he's suddenly trending on Twitter.
