Here's what Bill Belichick told New England Patriots in the locker room after beating the New York Jets in Week 12 at MetLife Stadium.

"That's a good job grinding it out there a couple of weeks," he said in a video on the Patriots' team website. "Definitely got the running game going. That's a damn good job up front, men. Covering kicks better. Stopping the run better. Keep improving. Keep working, alright? We've got a lot of work to do against a good football team that we don't know."

Here are a few more points of note from the video.

Brady told safety Devin McCourty, "Great game, baby. 13 points. That's awesome."

"About what we thought it was going to be," Matthew Slater told the team before they did their ceremonial huddle and celebration.

Brady went up to his starting offensive linemen to give them a hug and to tell them they did a good job.
