Mark Jackson won with Steph Curry...then took a big "L"

The Golden State Warriors have gone to the NBA Finals five straight times under head coach Steve Kerr, a run that spans the 2015-2019 seasons. But as recently as 2012, the team was a broken mess. Many have forgotten that Mark Jackson was the coach that resurrected the Dubs from the NBA graveyard and brought Golden State back into the bright lights of the postseason. He empowered the Splash Bros, invigorated the Warriors' defense, and pumped confidence into the whole organization. He also was embroiled in bizarre controversies with the front office, his staff, and even some of his players. He was fired after only three seasons with the team, despite leading the franchise to their first back-to-back playoff appearances in two decades. This latest piece from GSoM covers it all, including his bizarre Warriors related comments afterwards as a TV commentator. Such drama! Written, produced, and edited by Daniel Hardee.
