The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have no inside information about whether or not part-owner Ronaldo will join the team on the pitch as has been rumored.

Victor "PC" Giro has played the full 90 in all three of the Strikers opening matches and isn't sure if he'll be feeding balls to the legendary former Inter and Real Madrid legend.

"Nobody knows in here," PC said. "The only thing is that they guaranteed his place, because here there can be only seven foreign players. They're keeping his place but don't know if he is going to play or not. In [Strikers midfielder] Leo Moura's presentation, he talked about this, said he could play in the playoffs, if possible. But there's nothing guaranteed, only he knows," the player continued with a laugh.

The Brazilian did get the chance to meet his countryman, prior to the first match of the season.

"Ronaldo came to the dressing room, greeted and wished good luck to us all. But until now we never talked about the project, the team. It was only the dressing room contact," he said.

The Strikers have three points from three matches, which has them ninth in the NASL spring table.
