A San Antonio water park built to be accessible for people with special needs was named one of Time Magazine's World's Greatest Places in 2018.

Morgan's Inspiration Island made the cut of 100 spots around the globe. It's the world's first water park made to be "ultra accessible."

The park's water is set to different temperatures to be sensitive to people with a variety of needs and offers waterproof wheelchairs for its customers.

It was built by Gordon Hartman, who has a daughter with disabilities.

It's a park for everyone to enjoy, Hartman told Time Magazine, noting that park goers without special needs are known to have fun there too.

Morgan's Inspiration Island is one of two places in Texas to make the list. The other is Austin Central Library.
