Take a walk-through past Gasparilla's at the Henry Plant Museum
Full Story: https://wfts.tv/3wyByvt There is a story on every wall at the Henry Plant Museum on the University of Tampa campus. Right now, it is running the annual “Gasparilla: A Tampa Tradition” exhibit. “Gasparilla and Tampa really go hand and hand. The celebration started all the way back in 1904 in this building. It was the Tampa Bay Hotel at the time. So that is why we do an exhibit on the history of it and how it has changed over the last 120 years,” explained Lindsay Huban, the Museum Interim Director.
