This flight attendant served up a lot more than peanuts and sodas on one recent trip.

Philippine Airlines crew member Patrisha Organo breastfed a crying baby on a flight Tuesday when the infant’s upset mom revealed she was out of formula.

The flight attendant broke down the adventure in a Wednesday Facebook post.

“Everything went smoothly until after take off, I heard an infant’s cry, a cry that will make you want to do anything to help,” Organo wrote. “I approached the mother and asked if everything’s okay, I tried to tell her to feed her hungry child. Teary-eyed, she told me that she ran out of formula milk. Passengers started looking and staring at the tiny, fragile crying infant.

“I felt a pinch in my heart," she added. “There’s no formula milk onboard. I thought to myself, there’s only one thing I could offer and that’s my own milk. And so I offered.”

Another Philippine Airlines staffer helped the mom to the plane’s galley where Organo breastfed the infant.

“The baby started rooting, she was so hungry,” the flight attendant wrote. “I saw the relief on her mother’s eyes. I continued to feed the baby until she fell asleep. I escorted her back to her seat and just before I left, the mother sincerely thanked me.”

Organo’s Facebook post was accompanied by a shot of her breastfeeding the baby. The child’s face was blocked out with a baby emoticon, which Organo wrote she added to protect the infant’s family’s privacy.
