A flight from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia turned around after a passenger on board realized she left her baby in the airport terminal.

The flight requested to turn around after the woman alerted cabin crew that she had left her child in the terminal of the King Abdulaziz International Airport, according to The Gulf News.

In a video, an air traffic control operator relayed the message (in Arabic) that Flight SV832 was “requesting to come back” because “a passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing.”

“May God be with us. Can we come back?” the pilot asked air traffic control, as seen in the video, which has over 950,000 views at the time of writing.

The Gulf News reported that the incident took place over the weekend, but it’s not clear if the plane turned around while it was still on the tarmac or if it was in the air when the request was made. The airline has declined comment to reveal more information about the events leading up to the incident, according to The Independent.

After checking with a colleague, the air traffic controller approved the request to return to the gate, saying “Ok, head back to the gate. This is totally a new one for us!”

The mother was able to return to the airport gate and reconnect with her child, according to The Independent.
