Every year since 1978, UNESCO has added new natural and cultural places to its World Heritage List and the organization has just announced its newest additions. In order to preserve the “outstanding universal value” of the locations, the accolade provides enhanced protection against climate change and human development, as well as educating people about why these places are so special. From Korean tidal flats to a scenic Iranian railway, here are 2021's stunning additions.
