While protests following the death of George Floyd raged throughout the country, Olivia Jade made an impassioned plea for change on Instagram on Sunday, even claiming that "white privilege" can actually be used for good.

"Need to understand that just 'not being racist is not enough' if you hear people saying disrespectful things, correct them," the 20-year-old said.

Olivia told her 1.3 million followers to act when hearing racial epithets or jokes being made.

"Don't sit there & allow this to continue happening. And if someone says something like 'no one is around that offense' or 'it's a joke' it should offend ALL of us speak because it's outright wrong and disgusting that humans talk/treat each other humans THE way we've seen," she argued. "Explain how it's not funny at all. How ignorant how actually ignorant it sounds. How uneducated you sound when u are undermining with black people have had to deal with for generations. Speak up!!!"

Olivia demanded that change happen now and "forever," adding that she was somewhat uneducated on the racist divisions that still occur in America.

"As a person who is born into privilege based on my skin color & financial situation I was not always aware that these issues were still so present. And that makes me feel awful. But that also fuels me," she said. "I'm not racist and I never have been but I need to speak up about this because just not being racist isn't enough. It out rages me. It makes me feel sick. It brings me to tears. THERE SHOULD NOT BE SUCH A GAP BETWEEN PEOPLE LIKE THIS."

She added, "We need to support and stand up and speak and USE OUR WHITE PRIVILEGE TO STOP THIS. We need to stop complaining about the smallest things because the black community are fearful of dying and being oppressed every single day just on the way they look and how they were born. Time to step up and keep making noise because this cannot continue to happen. It's disgusting."

Olivia found herself in the headlines over the past year after her parent's involvement in a college admissions scandal, for which they've pleaded guilty to. Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are accused of paying a $500,000 bribe to get Olivia and her sister Bella into the University of Southern California as crew team recruits despite neither girl participating in the sport. At the time, many pundits argued that that was an example of blatant white privilege.

Lori and Mossimo will be formally sentenced this summer.
