‘Take My Wife’ Renewed For Season 2 By Seeso

Seeso has picked up a second season of romcomTake My Wife, starring comedians and real-life, same-sex married couple Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher, for premiere in 2017.

The half-hour, single-camera original series follows the young lesbian couple as elements of their domestic life intersect with the underground stand-up showcase they co-host in Los Angeles.

Season 1 featured Maria Bamford, Jonah Ray, Kulap Vilaysack, James Adomian, Seth Morris, Paul F. Tompkins, Ron Funches, Janet Varney, Matt Braunger, Joe DeRosa and Kurt Braunohler, among others, with Zeke Nicholson and Laura Kightlinger as series regulars.

Take My Wife is executive produced by Cameron and Rhea, as well as Scott Aukerman and David Jargowsky for Comedy Bang! Bang! Productions.
